If you have walked around the parish and school buildings and read local news releases about SVdP in the last few years, you have noticed that things are hopping--technology integration (iPads and Robots) to enhance the curriculum, reaching the potential of all students with differentiated instruction, security upgrades to keep our kids safe, bathroom renovations to keep things spruced up, and more!

This funds for this year’s paddleraiser will help us to go even farther with the initiatives of these last few years.  Our goal of $30,000 will help us with:

Building Enhancements
Art Room Floor:  Replacement of the existing Art Room floor, bringing it up to code and developing the artistic “feel” of the Art Room (Estimated $11,000)

Gym Foyer Renovations:  A “face lift” of the gym foyer to include new lighting, flooring, and displays so that the great programs at SVdP, including our belief in the importance of sportsmanship, can shine in all of our buildings. (Estimated $6,000-$10,000)

Academic Program Enhancements
Children’s Literature Purchases:  In alignment with our differentiated instruction initiatives, we will use these funds to purchase children’s literature for students across grade levels to better meet the varying reading abilities of our students.  ($5,000)

More iPads (up to 15)!: The purchase of additional iPads to increase the numbers of iPads available to teachers for students’ use across grade levels. ($4,00-$7,500)

We have a total goal of $30,000 for this year’s Paddle Raiser.  Any money raised over and above this amount will be added to our Tuition Assistance Program.
