SVdP Paddle Raiser
The Paddle Raiser is a special auction item that raises restricted funds for the immediate needs of the school and church. Every donation, whether $5 or $5,000, has an impact on the daily operations of our church and school community. This year, all funds raised during the Paddle Raiser will assist with two projects:

Ongoing Technology Integration & Communication Systems:
The first portion of the Gala Paddle Raiser will be used to add to our Technology fund at SVdP, which is being used to build a solid infrastructure in the building for technology usage, as well as purchasing equipment to be used by teachers and students in support of learning in the 21st century. Current resources in this fund will be used to purchase new laptops for all teachers, as well as outfitting the student computer lab with new equipment prior to the 2014-2015 school year. Other technologies are currently being researched and vetted in discerning how we can best meet our educational needs and goals with the help of technology. This amount raised for technology, up to $25,000, will be matched by a generous contribution from Wayne and Diana Murdy. (Goal: $25,000)

Phone System:
The second portion of our Paddle Raiser will be used to finance the upgrading of the current phone system use by the church and school. This upgrade will be used to replace phone hardware, as well as potential improvements in phone wiring. (Goal: $10,000)

We have a total goal of $35,000 for this year's Paddle Raiser. Any money raised over and above this amount will be added to our Technology Fund.
